Ryan was born, raised and currently lives in Brentwood TN.

Played baseball for four years at the University of Tennessee and earned an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology/Exercise Science.

Pitched in the 1995 College World Series, Invited to the 1996 Olympic baseball tryouts, Drafted in the 1996 MLB draft in the 12th round by the Toronto Blue Jays. Three elbow surgeries while playing in the Blue Jays organization ultimately ended his baseball career but lead him to physical therapy school.

Received a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Belmont University in 2002.

He has worked in a variety of physical therapy settings and managed multiple clinics. He currently works with athletes from all levels of competition. Working with throwing athletes is his specialty, whether it’s rehabbing them after surgery, performing a biomedical throwing analysis to reviewing throwing mechanics and giving pitching lessons.

Enjoys coaching, working out, being a member at Fellowship Bible Church and spending time with his wife and three daughters.
